Growing in Christ Through Community

Matt Briggs is our Family Pastor. If you have any questions about our Family Ministry, please contact him here.

PRESCHOOL (Six weeks—Kindergarten)

We have Grace City Kids groups for our preschoolers at 9:00 and 10:30 AM. Our preschool environment is fun and engaging, and our leaders are excited to lead kids to know Jesus.

Each preschool environment is full of fun and interactive age appropriate toys. Our leaders lead each group in activities and learning centered around each of these truths. We want to see the community of Jackson grow preschoolers who love and are excited to know Jesus.

Every leader in Grace City Kids goes through an interview, a background check and training.

As kids exit kindergarten, we want them to know and be firmly grounded in these three truths.

  • God made me.
  • Jesus loves me
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

ELEMENTARY (1st—5th grade)

Our elementary kids are involved in our kid groups at 9:00 and 10:30 AM. Our Grace City Kids groups are fun and encourage an atmosphere of learning and discovering Jesus.

Every leader in Grace City Kids goes through an interview, a background check and training.

As kids exit the 5th grade, we want them to know and be firmly grounded in these three truths.

  • I need to make wise choices
  • I can trust God no mater what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Student Ministry

At Grace City Church we know that students are a vital part of any healthy church. It is our goal to partner with parents in discipling their teens to become Christ followers. We have developed a ministry philosophy that incorporates the student into the rest of the church as a whole. You’ll see Grace City students serving in our kid groups, helping our worship teams, and pitching in just about anywhere you would see an adult serving the church.

Student Ministry Group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00. Each week we play games, hear a helpful Bible study talk and hang out together. Sunday mornings are a great time to get connected in the Student Ministry at Grace City. Email Stevie Franks for location and directions.

Grace City Student Ministry offers events and activities throughout the year to help students grow in their faith, serve others and build lasting friendships. Events might include mission trips, retreats, hangouts and more.

College Ministry

We love college students, and we believe God wants to do big things in their lives while they’re in this season that’s unlike any other time in their life.

God did not design us to live life on our own. At Grace City, we have Community Groups to help you grow deeper in the life that God wants you to live. A Community Group is a place where you can know others, spend time learning the Bible, and growing in your relationship with God. When we talk about Community Groups, we think of them like this: a collection of intentionally gospel-centered relationships that produce disciple-making disciples.

We know that it can be intimidating to join a group, so we want to make it as easy on you as possible. When you click the link below for our Community Groups Directory, you can check out all the available Community Groups. You can even filter groups by different attributes that might be of interest like location, childcare, stage-of-life, etc. If you see a group that you’re interested in click the button that says “Join this Group,” and the group leader will get in touch with you.

Membership at Grace City Church is a covenant relationship between those who have professed faith in Christ and the church leaders at Grace City who serve under Christ. This covenant relationship calls both Grace City and Covenant Members into a deeper commitment to each other and to the Lord Jesus. In this covenant relationship, Grace City Church pledges to mature Covenant Members through education, discipleship, and service opportunities, to help Covenant Members to better know Jesus and equip them to represent Him in their community. Covenant Members pledge to serve Christ by serving His church and strengthening its mission. To become a Covenant Member at Grace City, one must complete the membership class requirements and affirm their desire for membership. Covenant Membership classes are offered two to three times a year. Contact church staff to see when the next Membership Class will be held.
