Salvation is beginning a relationship with Jesus. Salvation is a free gift that anyone can accept and the Bible has a lot to say about beginning a relationship with God. The following teachings will help you under-stand God’s grace and what it means to respond in faith.
Baptism is going public with your faith. Baptism symbolizes Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. There are three reasons that we baptize: to follow the example of Christ, because Christ commanded it and the demonstration of your profession of faith.
Community is living out your faith with others. At Grace City we want everyone to continue to grow to be more like Jesus. We also understand that this is very difficult to do alone. This is the reason that God has called us to community. At Grace City, we experience community through Community Groups.
Give is investing your resources into God’s Kingdom. Three reasons why giving is important: we are called to give, the Church is God’s chosen way to reach the world, and giving protects us from materialism. If you’d like to financially invest in the ministries of Grace City, click here.
Serve is using your time and abilities for God’s Kingdom. At Grace City, we believe that it is essential for Christians to serve. God has given each person a gift to equip us to serve so that the body of Christ may be strengthened. There are many opportunities to serve at Grace City, and we want you to find the one that best suits your passion, personality and availability. Visit our volunteer page to learn more.
Reach is all about helping others take their Next Step. When reaching people with the Gospel, remember that we are God’s plan to spread the gospel, we are commanded to spread the gospel and the Holy Spirit empowers us to spread the gospel.
